How to create upselling and supplements

Introduction

This tutorial teaches you how to create upselling/supplement product that automatically pop-up on the screen when you sell a product in the Point of Sales application or in online booking. The procedure is the same for both. 

What you need to do is to create a page with a special kind 'Supplement', and then link this supplement page to the product on which you want to get the supplement page while selling onsite or online.

1. Go to Menu -> Products -> Pages
2. Click + to add a new page
3. Set Page Kind = Supplement
4. Add the products you want to upsell

Actual configuration

When your upselling page is ready, we have to configure the correct products to trigger this page so it automatically pops up when you sell the product. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open the ‘Menu’ in the top right corner
2. Go to Products -> Products
3. Search the product that needs to show the upselling page when you sell it
4. After opening the product, click on the ‘Configuration’ tab and then click on 'Supplements'
5. Inside that tab, you will see the list of upselling/supplement pages, enable the page you want to pop up when selling this product.
6. Don’t forget to click ‘Save’ to confirm.
