If you have a datacap server service, this is how you install a new client.
Install device drivers
Depending on the device you are using you need the right drivers. You can find the required drivers on the datacap website.
In the example, we are using the "lane 3000" from Ingenico, so we need the Ingenico driver.
Navigate through the installation procedure and make sure to force the COM port feature.
And to uninstall the Microsoft drivers.
Once the installation is completed you can verify it in the device manager.
Install the Datacap client.
each client PC has to have a Datacap client running to enable communication with the datacap server.
This software can also be downloaded on the datacap website.
Depending on your platform and region, you will need a different client, but most commonly, it is the latest dsiEMVUS version.
Accept the terms and conditions, and restart your device after installation.
